City of Temecula Announces Winchester Creek Park’s New Playground Virtual Celebration

TEMEMaryann Edwards at Winchester Creek ParkCULA, CA ─ The City of Temecula announces the re-opening of a newly renovated playground at Winchester Creek Park (39950 Margarita Road).   Please join us for the Virtual Re-Opening on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 10:00 am @TemeculaParksAndRec on Facebook.

Temecula’s City Council members will provide viewers with information on this newly renovated playground at Winchester Creek Park. Visitors will love the new nature inspired playground.  Children’s imaginations will run wild as explore and climb on the logs and stone structures that are surrounded by the blue river running through the middle of the playground.  There is even a waterfall to climb on.  Along their journey they will encounter a kayak, giant frog, turtle, and much more!   

Temecula City Council Member & Community Services District President, Zak Schwank commented, “The City of Temecula believes in providing high quality parks for our community to enjoy, and the new playground at Winchester Creek Park is a perfect example.  Our youth are going to love playing on all the newly renovated playground equipment.  I encourage you and your family or friends to get outside, and explore this amazing new playground for yourself.” 

Thankfully our playgrounds remain open for families to get outside and enjoy.  Please remember to Play It Safe by socially distancing when possible, wearing a face mask, and being respectful to those around you.
