Medical Diagnostic Lab at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library on Monday, March 2, 2020

Medical Diagnostic Lab

Join us for a night of S.T.E.M. fun!  Learn how to use some of the tools and tests to make a diagnosis during the teen program, Medical Diagnostic Lab, on Monday, March 2, 2020, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library (30600 Pauba Road).

Participants will imagine they work in a clinic and have received blood samples from two patients who were possibly exposed to the influenza virus.  Professor Nick Reeves from Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) will teach participants how to use the ELISA medical diagnostic test to determine which patient is infected (no actual virus will be present).

Sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries, this program is for Grades 7-12. Registration begins two weeks in advance.  Please register at the library reception desk or by calling (951) 693-8900.
