Temecula Valley Museum Presents Arts & Culture Programming This Holiday Season

Chirstmas Culture

Come one, come all, as we embark on a magical journey highlighting all the cultures celebrated in Temecula throughout 2022.

Second Saturday: A Cultural Celebration

Celebrate culture with us at the Second Saturday program! We honor different cultures with food, entertainment, crafts, activities, and a free art lesson with City of Temecula Instructor Tony Moramarco of Bigfoot Art Classes on the second Saturday monthly, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Commemorate the Holiday season through our special offering, Christmas Around the World.   This event highlights the Christmas season, featuring each culture celebrated in 2022 at Second Saturday.  Join us at the Temecula Valley Museum on DEC 10, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm to enjoy a festive and culturally enriching experience.  Celebrate, explore, and experience a mix of rich culture, samples of cultural food, music, and creative art activities provided by Bigfoot Art Classes

Cultural Connections Exhibit

The Temecula Valley Museum is excited to bring you the Cultural Connections Exhibit.  It will feature art from a cultural exchange between young artists from Temecula and senior artists from Temecula’s Sister City: Daisen, Japan.  The artwork includes two different traditional Japanese art forms: E-tegami (simple hand-painted drawings accompanied by a few apt words, done on postcards) and Chigiri-e (pictures created from hand-torn Japanese paper called washi).

New Community Art Mural

The Temecula Valley Museum is excited to display the NEW Community Art Mural.  This mural will feature a representation of all the countries celebrated at this year’s Second Saturday Cultural Celebrations at the Temecula Valley Museum.  The mural was outlined by Tony Moramarco of Bigfoot Art Classes and was painted by the public at Art Off The Walls (November 2022) and on weekends in Sam Hicks Monument Park during museum hours.
