Interested in learning a new colorful and cultural craft? Visit the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library (30600 Pauba Road) on MON, MAR 7, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm for a night of Japanese crafts and snacks. Learn the art of kumihimo, make a colorful bracelet or keychain, and try some delicious Japanese snacks!
Kumihimo is the traditional Japanese technique of braiding to create colorful cords. This technique was utilized to create cords which were used as Samurai laces as well as kimono belts, the obi.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries and is for Grades 7-12. Advanced registration begins two weeks prior to scheduled programs and events. Space is limited to 20 participants. Please register at the library reception desk or by calling (951) 693-8900.
