The Old Town Temecula Community Theater invites our community to experience a night of hope and healing at Songs for Hope on THU, SEP 23, 2021, at 7:30 pm.  Concept created and produced by Jason and Rachel Green, Songs for Hope harnesses the power of the arts to create a better world. This original, creative performance brings hope, healing, and connection to those affected by the global pandemic.  Temecula’s Mayor Maryann Edwards, City Council Members, Boards, and Commission Members extend a special invitation to all First Responders, Essential Workers, Residents, and their families to this free performance.  We appreciate and honor your sacrifices and bravery.  Secure your seats while tickets last by visiting TemeculaTheater.org or call the Ticket Office at 1.866.OLD.TOWN (1.866.653.8696).

Temecula Mayor Maryann Edwards states, “Live Theatre and the Arts are the heart and soul of the culture of a people.  The return of live performances is a joyous occasion, especially filled with songs that spark joy, hope, and healing.  To recognize those who worked tirelessly and helped our community throughout the global pandemic, Temecula’s City Council Members, Board and Commission Members, extend a special invitation to First Responders and their families to this free performance.  We sincerely appreciate your brave sacrifices and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

After an extended pause, Temecula Presents will launch the 2021-2022 Season.  Temecula Presents’ 17th Season brings Temecula’s favorite, top-notch performers from our Legends Series: Debby Holiday, Tina Turner Tribute (SEP 30); The Long Run, Eagles Tribute (OCT 1); and Led Zepagain, Led Zeppelin Tribute (OCT 2).  Since we were unable to celebrate our 15th Anniversary in person on OCT 4, 2020, please come celebrate the Old Town Temecula Community Theater’s 16th Anniversary on SUN, OCT 3, 2021, at 7:00 pm when Grammy Award-Winning trombonist, composer, and producer Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra entertain Temecula!  Festivities begin with a 6:00 pm Social Hour in Temecula Theater’s Courtyard.

Temecula Community Services District President and City Council Member Zak Schwank adds, “The Old Town Temecula Community Theater is a cultural icon in our community bringing world-class talent to our City.  We are thrilled to celebrate together, once again, in a safe space especially after such challenging times.  All are invited to join us over these two celebratory weekends to marking this memorable milestone year – Temecula Theater’s Sweet Sixteen.”

This Season's highlights include our Dance Series: Hiplet Ballerinas (FEB 19) from Chicago, Illinois, also headlining our annual Celebration of American Black History Month.  An elegant and captivating performance of Lily Cai Chinese Dance Company (APR 23) graces the stage with ancient forms of modern dance.  Returning to Temecula’s stage, Classical Series alums: Anderson & Roe Piano Duo (APR 2), and Blues Series favorite: Dennis Jones Band (MAY 7). Temecula’s own international singing star, Sherry Williams returns for our 15th Annual Big Band Concert with the Big Band All-Stars.

Our 2021-2022 Season has something for everyone to #ExperienceTemeculaTheater.  Resident Companies will present Mamma Mia (SEP 3-19) and Matilda (OCT 8-24).  Temecula Valley Players’ and Fine Arts Network Theater Company’s Season line-ups will be announced on social media.
