Each Thursday (and special performance dates throughout the year), you will be treated to a different jazz group in the intimate space known as "The Merc". The Mercantile is one of Temecula's original buildings and has been beautifully restored. We wanted to take advantage of this venue and bring you straight ahead jazz every Thursday evening in this acoustically inspired space.
t doesn’t get more legendary than the music of Prince. When the iconic performer passed in 2016, the world mourned the loss of the multi-instrumentalist savant who was well ahead of his time musically. Whether you were a fan of Prince’s irrevocable style, or only discovered his catalogue after his passing, Prince Again is a show for all to enjoy.
Prince’s hits smashed the Billboard Charts and created memories for generations – after all, Prince penned arguably some of the best songs in music history; with tracks such as Little Red Corvette, 1999, Kiss, Cream, Diamonds & Pearls, I Wanna Be Your Lover and the iconic Purple Rain. With no doubt that Prince Again will pay homage in a party fashion, audiences are guaranteed to be on their feet from start to finish. Fans will revisit and keep those purple memories alive along with creating new ones in deference to the Prince.
Backed by a live band, the detailed vocal stylings of John Acosta (Barry), Daryl Borges (Robin), and Jeff Celentano (Maurice) as the Brothers Gibb recreate the sights and sounds of the Bee Gees from the 60s to the late 70s, with their unique falsettos that have made them legends.
Each second Saturday of the month, Speakeasy at The Merc presents live Traditional Jazz of the 20s-40s. Performances feature the house band, Second Hand Jazz with vocalist Rosalie Porter, in rotation with prominent southern California Traditional Jazz artists.

Classics at The Merc is a bi-monthly chamber recital series co-produced by the California Chamber Orchestra and Temecula Presents.
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoon we feature an individual musician or small ensemble performing a wide range of music. Our performers are all working professional musicians or advanced conservatory students.
The Classics at The Merc series is curated by Michael Molnau: Principal Violist, Music Librarian, and Orchestra Personnel Manager for the California Chamber Orchestra. In addition to featuring professional musicians from our own community, our close affiliations with San Diego State University’s Adams’ Project and with the Consortium of Southern California Chamber Music Presenters allow us to present a wide range of talent from Southern California and beyond.
