The Junior Women’s S.T.E.M. Program is a program that is put on by the City of Temecula to expose middle school girls ages 11-14, to the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (S.T.E.M.). This program repeats on a monthly basis, check back for more information on the next event.
The program strives to:
Increase girls’ competency in conducting scientific investigations
Increase girls’ facility and mastery of S.T.E.M. skills as well as increasing their interest and understanding of the applications of S.T.E.M. in daily life
Increase the girls’ interest in pursuing S.T.E.M. careers and S.T.E.M. related elective classes, subjects, and majors
