The City of Temecula has released the Southwest Riverside County: Special Needs Resource Guide. The City of Temecula Human Services Department has developed this guide of resources as a reference tool to assist parents, caregivers, and individuals affected by disabilities to connect with local services and resources. Area Autism Resources
Inland Regional Center
The Inland Regional Center coordinates with generic services to normalize the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families by working to include them in the everyday routines and life rhythms of the community and by facilitating needed supports for them.
Southwest California Autism Task Force
The Southwest California Autism Task Force is a group of elected officials from cities in Southwest Riverside County whom have joined together to find solutions to the difficulties faced by individuals and families affected by autism.
Autism Community Playbook
The Community Playbook is developed through a collaborative effort by the City of Temecula’s Community Services Department, regional stakeholders, and interested community members. The City of Temecula has drafted this playbook so that other regions including cities and counties of any size will be able to obtain direction and guidance on how to address the growing need to provide services and programs to youth and families affected by Autism.
