Play is a valuable way to learn for our youngest library customers. To encourage children to learn through play, the Kids’ Library offers interactive, hands-on learning.
Activities are rotated on a regular basis to offer interesting, new challenges.

Play & Learn Island

Children learn but also have fun at the same time at the Play and Learn Island™. Children socialize with new friends, learn new skills and create imaginative play as they interact together in a shared activity.

Computer Activities

The Kids’ Library features 7 computers with internet access. Some stations feature special computer keyboards for preschool children. Kids with a valid library card may play fun and educational online games at the library. Sessions may be up to one hour in length, twice a day.
