Old Town Local Advisory Committee

Overview

The role of the Old Town Local Advisory Committee shall only be advisory to the Planning Commission and City Council. As the members of the Committee are stakeholders in Old Town, they will each bring to the Committee important perspectives, experience and wisdom with respect to the development and maintenance of Old Town. The Old Town Local Advisory Committee shall meet each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 41000 Main Street, Temecula. Resolution 2023-94

Committee Members

The Committee shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the City Council to the following seats on the Committee:

a) Four (4) of the Committee seats shall be reserved for one representative from each of the following organizations: 

1) Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce; 

2) Visit Temecula Valley; 

3) Old Town Temecula Merchants Association; and 

4) Temecula Valley Historic Society.

b) One (1) of the Committee seats shall be reserved for an owner of land within the

Old Town Specific Plan area.

c) One (1) of the Committee seats shall be reserved for a licensed architect.

d) One (1) of the Committee seats shall be reserved for a Temecula resident at -large.

The application period has now closed.

The City of Temecula invited interested residents to apply for the following positions on the Old Town Local Advisory Committee:

One (1) Land Owner within Old Town Specific Plan Area

One (1) Licensed Architect

One (1) Temecula Resident At-Large

The City Council will make appointments to these positions at a public meeting on February 27, 2024. The term of each position will be March 1, 2024 through December 31, 2026.
