Staying safe during an emergency is a team effort and one that involves you, your family, your neighbors, your community and the City of Temecula. The below diagram shows exactly how each of these groups plays a role in remaining resilient.

​Our Goal - make Temecula a Disaster Ready and Disaster Resilient Community 

Once you have made an emergency plan, built a kit and are aware of the hazards that are located within your area of the community, you may be ready to get involved by helping your community better prepare for a disaster. Here are some suggestions on how to do that: 

​Volunteer for the City of Temecula's Citizen Corps, also known as the TCC. This is a group of like-minded individuals who have a vested interest in the readiness and preparedness of our city.

Volunteer for Team Rubicon

Volunteer for the American Red Cross

Volunteer to be an Emergency Communicator using HAM Radio
