Legal Scholars Program
Purpose
The Summer Legal Scholars Program is hosted annually by the City of Temecula. Selected
undergraduate students participate in a summer-long program that is coordinated by the
Economic Development team. During this six-week program, students gain critical skills that
pertain to the legal field such as critical thinking, organization, professionalism, and networking.
During this program, students can expect to be given practice for the LSAT, tour a law school,
participate in workshops, listen to panels, and participate in experiences with the legal
community. Students who participate in the program not only grow as individuals, but will also
grow as a team through their shared experiences. This program provides the skills needed to
succeed in the legal profession, apply to law school, and create memories that will stay with the
students for life. This program will conduct and inspire students into the legal community
through enriched classroom activities, tours, and courtroom experiences.
The Legal Scholars Program Provides:
● Courthouse Visit and Judicial Tour
